The National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) on Tuesday received a courtesy call from the Country Manager of the African Development Bank (AfDB), *Andoh Obed Mensah*, at the Commission’s headquarters in Freetown.
The visit formed part of ongoing engagements aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering cordial working relations between NaCSA and the African Development Bank in support of Sierra Leone’s development agenda.
Welcoming the AfDB delegation, the Commissioner of NaCSA, *Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina*, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, *Dr. Julius Maada Bio*, expressed profound appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed Government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening partnerships with development institutions dedicated to improving the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable communities across the country.
He highlighted NaCSA’s nationwide operational presence and community based approach to development interventions, noting that the institution continues to work closely with local councils, community leaders, women’s groups, youth groups, and vulnerable populations across the country.
The Commissioner further assured the delegation of NaCSA’s commitment to professionalism, accountability, and effective collaboration in all engagements with development partners.
Speaking during the meeting, AfDB Country Manager Andoh Obed Mensah commended NaCSA for its strong grassroots presence and continued role in supporting socio-economic development initiatives in communities nationwide.
The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation and sustaining productive institutional relations for the benefit of the people of Sierra Leone.
