NaCSA House-

*Earlier this afternoon, the Commissioner of NaCSA; Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina and his deputy; Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Minister of Finance I at the Ministry of Finance.

The rebranding strategy of NaCSA requires a multi-sectoral approach and collaboration. The Ministry of Finance plays a critical role in ensuring that the Commission is positioned to function effectively and efficiently. Both the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner have made conscious efforts to ensure that NaCSA is at the centre of implementing the big five game changers - a national development framework pioneered by His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio.

The Big 5 game changers aim to accelerate economic growth and build resilience. They include Feed Salone, Human Capital Development, Youth Employment, Revamping the Public Service Architecture, and Tech and Infrastructure. These strategic priorities have been embedded in the Medium-Term National Development Plan (2024-2030).

The official unveiling of Sierra Leone's Medium-Term National Development Plan (MTNDP), which spans the years 2024–2030, has taken place. To establish an unmatched future of wealth and advancement for the nation, the plan is titled "A Transformative Acceleration Agenda for Food Security, Human Capital Development, and Job Creation." His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio underlined at the plan's official launching that it is a well-thought-out strategy that would act as the foundation of society and make sure that Sierra Leoneans' goals are carefully taken into account. The MTNDP places a strong emphasis on emancipating and empowering the populace, and the government is determined to meet obstacles head-on while adhering to sustainability, equity, and justice ideals.

In his statement, the Commissioner thanked the Ministry of Finance for their unrivalled support of NaCSA's project implementation progress.  *"On behalf of my team, of course, the Deputy Commissioner is here, senior management, I want to thank you and the Ministry for the support. We further want to congratulate you on your appointment. NaCSA and the Ministry have a long-standing relationship built on the principle of mutual respect and commitment to implementing development projects. We will surely strengthen this relationship because it will be better for the future of this country."* Amb. Ndomahina noted.

The Minister of Finance I; Honorable Kadiatu Allie expressed her gratitude and reassured the Commissioners of her continued commitment to achieving the work of NaCSA.
