Commissioner Ernest Ndomahina Unveils NaCSA’s 2026 Theme: “Inclusive Social Action for a Resilient Sierra Leone...

*NaCSA House, Freetown, Sierra Leone, 5th January 2026* – The National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) has officially launched its 2026 theme, *“Inclusive Social Action for a Resilient Sierra Leone”,* signaling a renewed commitment to building a nation where no one is left behind. The announcement was made by Commissioner Ernest Ndomahina during a management meeting at NaCSA headquarters, where he emphasized the agency’s vision of inclusive growth, community-driven development, and resilience-building in line with the Feed Salone Agenda.

Commissioner Ndomahina described the theme as a guiding framework for NaCSA’s work in the year ahead. *“This theme represents our collective vision of a Sierra Leone where every citizen—women, youth, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable communities—has a stake in national development,” he said. “It is about ensuring that growth is shared growth, and that resilience is built from the ground up. We have meticulously positioned this internal operational framework in line with the national development agenda as postulated by His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio.”*

The Commissioner highlighted that genuine development must be inclusive, intentionally targeting groups that have historically been marginalized. He explained that NaCSA’s programs will continue to center these communities in social protection and livelihood initiatives. “We cannot talk about progress if large segments of our population remain excluded. Inclusion is not charity—it is justice, and it is the foundation of sustainable development,” Ndomahina affirmed.

Dr Susan Robert, the Deputy Commissioner also addressed the gathering, stressing that all units must function effectively and the internal unit should na redirect its focus to both financial and operational audit.*“Development works best when it is owned by the people. Shared responsibility, accountability, and civic engagement are the pillars of social action. Communities must identify their priorities and hold institutions accountable,”* she noted, calling on staff to strengthen grassroots partnerships across the country.

Both the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner urged all staff and partners to ensure smooth implementation of the theme. *“This is not just a slogan. It is a call to action. Each of us has a role to play in making Sierra Leone more inclusive, more resilient, and more prosperous,”*

Ndomahina declared. The Deputy Commissioner Dr Susan Robert echoed this sentiment, adding: *“We must work together with discipline, innovation, and compassion to translate this vision into reality.”*

As the meeting concluded, the atmosphere was one of optimism and determination. The leadership’s message was clear: NaCSA is not only an implementing agency but a mobilizing force for change. With the 2026 theme, the Commission envisions a Sierra Leone that is stronger, fairer, and more united as consistently preached by His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio – President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
