The Commissioner, Deputy and a team of experts from senior management have received a delegation from ECOBANK Sierra Leone. The essence of the visit is to pay a courtesy call to the Commissioner – Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina and to introduce the incoming Managing Director of ECOBANK Sierra Leone – Mr. Sebantian Ashong-Katai.
Before his appointment as Managing Director for ECOBANK Sierra Leone, Sebastian Ashong-Katai was the advisor-group - Group Head of Financial Institutions and International Organizations at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. He comes with over 20 years’ experience mostly in Africa, covering West, Eastern, Central and Southern Africa in both risk and business development in the Corporate and Investment Banking space. He has strong Business Management skills and excellent networks across Africa. Passionate to deploy networks and Emerging Markets knowledge to further the cause of improving economic value through financial intermediation at a senior level
The seasoned International Development Expert, Amb. Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina -Commissioner of NaCSA welcomed the delegation and reassured the team of the Commission’s continued commitment to strengthen the existing relationship between the two institutions. *‘’ NaCSA and ECOBANK have long-standing relations premised on professionalism and service delivery. Mrs. L Aina Moore, ECO Bank’s outgoing Managing Director reiterated the development orientation of the Commissioner and the corporation the Bank has enjoyed from the Commission over the years. In assurance, she noted that MD Katai would be available at all times to address all concerns.
In conclusion, the Deputy Commissioner of NaCSA , Sir Jimmy Batilo Songa re-emphasized the existing commitment to sustain the partnership between the two institutions.
