*Freetown, Sierra Leone, November 3, 2025* – The National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) has awarded contracts to successful bidders under the Pro-Poor Growth for Peace Consolidation and Youth Employment (GPCYE) Project, following a transparent and competitive bidding process.
During the ceremony, NaCSA management and staff, led by Commissioner Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina, welcomed contractors and engineers whose bids were approved Senior Director of Programmes, Regina Saffa, delivered a welcome address, thanking stakeholders for their cooperation and commitment.
Ambassador Ndomahina commended the contractors for their resilience and professionalism, highlighting the importance of adhering to contractual obligations and accountability. He also shared insights from a recent mission to Germany, where discussions were held with investors and partners supporting the GPCYE Project.
Program Manager Mr. Salifu Mansaray announced that 28 contractors met the technical and financial requirements out of 398 bidders who purchased bid documents covering 31 lots. He congratulated the successful bidders and encouraged them to maintain high standards of performance and integrity.
The Commissioner presented contract award letters to the successful contractors, reaffirming NaCSA's commitment to promoting inclusive growth, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment. Senior Engineer Alvic Francis Deveneaux outlined the next phases of contract implementation, ensuring contractors understood contractual procedures and reporting obligations.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of collaboration and optimism among participants. NaCSA remains committed to promoting sustainable development, enhancing community resilience, and fostering peace and economic opportunity for all Sierra Leoneans.
